Why did you become a physician/provider?
As a nurse I enjoyed being able to work with patients, getting to know them and working with their goals. As a provider, I want to continue to build those relationships with my patients and give them the tools needed to meet their goals.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
Each patient deserves an individualized plan of care that is tailored to their needs and goals to maintain or improve their quality of life.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about?
Disease prevention and appropriate management of diseases to prevent damage to body systems.
Why did you choose your specialty?
To be able to work with patients to improve their quality of life.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
Compassionate, evidence-based, ethical care.
Being a health care provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
I enjoy educating patients on ways to improve their quality of life, which motivates me each day.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I want my patients to know I want to work with them as a team to meet their health care goals.
