Professional Statement
Why did you become a physician/provider?
I enjoy working with and getting to know a variety of people. Being a provider allows me to do that while making a difference in others lives and having a career that challenges me daily.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
Treat the person, not just their medical problems. I believe it is important to treat the patient as a whole and to individualize care so that it is specific to their health needs and goals.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about?
Palliative care and family medicine.
Why did you choose your specialty?
I want to work with patients of all ages with varying health needs and problems.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
Quality, patient-centered care.
Being a health care provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
I want to help others reach their health potential and goals so that they can enjoy all life has to offer.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I believe the best way to care for a patient is to get to know them as a person, not just as a patient. I want them to feel confident in the care I can provide for them.
