I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with an area of interest in depressive and schizophrenia spectrum disorders, as well as geriatric psychiatry. I provide individual psychiatric assessments of patients seeking psychiatric pharmacological treatment and develop a diagnostic case with a treatment plan that incorporates each patient’s specific needs with consideration of his/her mental, physical and psychosocial functioning. My treatment philosophy is to engage patients in the decision-making process by partnering up with them so as to achieve the optimal treatment outcome for each patient. I always value the trust that patients have in me when they share their stories, and I feel privileged to be a part of their treatment team on their path to recovery.
